Four characteristics
  • Respond: When the weather gets hotter, it moves to a cooler space.
  • Grows and Develops: When it is a new born, it can't open it's eyes but,and at the age of one they are mature.
  • Made out of one or more cells: It has blood cells, nerve cells, and other cells.
  • Reproduces: At early spring. The female will have five to eight babies.

Four needs
  • Food: plants, vegetables, nuts, seeds, cactus, eggs, berries, sometimes small insects and animals. In the winter, they store the food in their under ground burrows.
  • Habitat: In under ground burrows in the deserts of California
  • Air: It breaths air by it's nose and through their noses.
  • Water: They get water from the berries, insects, cactus, eggs, and vegetables.
